Below are some tools that can be utilized to create a professional online identity
- Twitter:-An online social networking and microblogging service that enables users to send and read "tweets", which are text messages limited to 140 characters.
- Academia.edu : A social networking website for academics. The platform can be used to share papers, monitor their impact, and follow the research in a particular field.
- SlideShare: A Web 2.0 based slide hosting service. Users can upload files privately or publicly in the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote, or OpenDocument presentations
- LinkedIn: A social networking website for people in professional occupations. It is mainly used for professional networking.
